Soon after Memphis F.C. was founded, plans were made to incorporate international travel tours into the player development program of the club.  Since 1993, MFC players have taken annual trips abroad to experience not only the  game of futbol as played by those countries, but the cultural and historical lessons that international travel provides.

The trips are essential in forming team bonds,  not only for players but for parents who participate as well.  Participants represent their country, state and club, often in an Olympic or World Cup type atmosphere.  MFC routinely travels to Italy, Poland, England, Denmark, Sweden and other European countries.

While some clubs dream of international travel and others make futile attempts or rely on costly “travel agent“ packages, Memphis FC has made over 20 international trips affordably via the vast network of contacts Coach Bute has made in his career and through partnerships (such as adidas®) only avalable to premier clubs like MFC.  Through easy  fundraising opportunites and  player sponsorships, Memphis FC's travel tours are accessible to all MFC players and parents.
